The client needed to develop a prototype for an AI-powered cosmetics marketplace with a superior product recommendation engine. The challenge was to create a more engaging and effective method for gathering user needs than a static form or simple chatbot, aiming for a truly personalized experience.

Solution

Superscript Systems developed a prototype featuring an innovative "reverse-chat" system. This unique active-conversation approach has the AI leading the dialogue, proactively asking questions to extract detailed symptom information from the consumer. This extracted data was then used to recommend specific cosmetic products and treatments based on a set of submitted guidelines.

Results

A successful prototype was created, demonstrating a novel and effective conversational approach for a recommendation system. The AI-led dialogue allows for a deeper understanding of consumer needs, leading to more accurate and personalized product recommendations.
